Technical Manager - IT Product Development

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The technical Manager / development manager will be part of Custom Applications team under Enterprise IT organization. This position requires extensive experience in web and mobile application development. An individual who has managed 5+ members team of tech-leads / Developers. This position requires ability to comprehend business requirements, solution designing, handle technical challenges and Support team of tech-lead & developers on their day-to-day tasks

- Experience in handling & managing business projects requirement from technical and functional perspective.

- Experience in managing Technical Leads.

- Analyze requirements, propose technology and solution design.

- Responsible & accountable for execution end-2end projects or change requests and defects.

- Resolve technical issue faced by Tech Leads & developers.

- Complete tasks assigned related to project, monitoring execution of project according to project plan, resolving day-to-day challenges of project team and implementation in accordance with the IT development life cycle.

- Always confirm to documentation, coding, and quality standards as defined.

- Understand architecture of applications as per industry best practices, scalability and for the future.

- Prepare for and support user acceptance testing.

- Prepare all necessary documentation and processes to enable support of the systems.

- Effective Communication with internal and external customers, supervisors and management.

Required Skills

- Individual with experience as Technical Manager / Expert having experience in managing team of - Tech Leads / developers with extensive hands-on experience in coding (Must).

- Ability to learn new Technologies and a self-starter.

- 10+ years of experience, with at least 2 years of Application development experience from scratch in last 3 years.

- Experience in more than 3 of the following technologies - C#, ASP.NET, Angular 10+, Web API, Serverless, React JS, Node JS, MVC, RDBS (SQL SERVER)

- Resolve technical issue raised by the team.

- Hands-On experience with version control like GIT & managing production deployment & releases.

- Detailed knowledge of Web Application Development standards, Security principles, Database design is required.

- Proven ability to work on complex solutions, interfacing with large corporate systems required.

- Rapid Application Development and Agile Development experience required.
