Technical Leader - Artificial Intelligence - IT

ACCOUNTABILITIES :

- Defines AI based product/feature/technology roadmap with the Product management team.

- Identifies AI projects of high business impact including both product-related projects and research projects and implements it in an efficient manner that provides meaningful step ups in the applications.

- Designs and develops scalable solutions using AI technologies like machine learning models.

- Utilizes big data computation to create prototypes & datasets and conducts model training and evaluation.

- Prepares the plan and oversees the implementation of quality assurance processes in relation to model testing.

- Prepares the plan and oversees the implementation of continuous delivery/deployment strategies of AI / machine learning models.

- Maintains the launched AI based solutions and ensures that they continue to be relevant to the customers.

- Collaborates / communicates effectively with product owners representing different product lines.

- Provides the leadership role for working group through knowledge in AI related domain.

EXPERIENCE:

- 8+ years of programming experience in AI/ML, statistical SW (Python, R, SAS) and computing platform such as MATLAB including hands-on proficiency using AI frameworks. C++ is a plus.

- 5+ years should be in collaborating multicultural and multi-disciplined teams.

SKILLS:

- Strong fundamentals in software engineering, object-oriented programming, and software architecture, statistical modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence.

- Expertise in AI in auto or related industries (incl. pattern recognition & anomaly detection) - TensorFlow or PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, SciPy. Matplotlib.

- Hand-on experience in AI/ML application development including Statistical Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and Deep Learning (RNN/LSTM, AutoEnoder and CNN).

- Deep familiarity with statistical models & methods (time-series analysis, regression analysis, experimental design, hypothesis testing, etc.).

- Knowledgeable of Big Data technologies and related cloud services.

- Knowledgeable of software development lifecycle, project implementation methodologies such as DevOps / Agile etc.

- Knowledge in thermodynamics, energy and HVAC system is plus.

- Proven ability to work independently to learn new technologies, techniques, processes, languages, platforms, and systems.

- Demonstrated ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts.

- Strong written and verbal communications skills in English.

- Enjoys mentoring, training, and coaching other members of the team

EDUCATION BACKGROUND:

- PhD degree in a quantitative field including but not limited to data science, physics, computer science, math, engineering, and statistics, including specialization in an AI related field of study or equivalent technology (or master's degree with 10+ years' in related field).
