Required Education & Experience :
- BE from premier institute with minimum 18-20 years of experience of handling construction of Warehouses, 3 PL warehouses, logistic parks with PEB and self-support roofing structures, multi-story residential buildings, industrial sheds etc., in well-known corporate and MNCs.
- Experience with Silos would be an added advantage.
Skills Required :
- He must have experience in tendering.
- Must possess skills to analyze the structural drawings and comment and should be able to suggest reduction in cost of the project by optimizing the design and drawings where applicable.
- He should able to develop effective work methodology and monitoring mechanism for timely execution of project.
- Ability to work with and communicate effectively with subcontractors, engineering staff, consultants and chiefs
- Should have strong negotiation and problem solving skills
- Ability to speak clearly and exercise good judgment.
- He should be willing to travel extensively to the sites for driving the progress of construction work and for timely completion of the projects.
- Ability to meet timelines
- Should have hands on experience and knowledge in using MS Projects, Primavera, CAD, CAM, PERT CPM
Duties :
Project Management :
- Monitoring and controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time over-runs and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects.
- Participating project review meetings for evaluating project progress.
Site & Construction Management :
- Monitoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize the output.
- Inspecting field sites to observe and evaluate condition and operability of facilities and structures, and to collect field survey data and measurements.
- Implementing stringent systems and quality plans / manuals to ensure high quality standards during all the stages of project.
Contract Management
- Monitoring the Bill of Quantities.
- Coordinating with external agencies for techno-commercial negotiations, preparation of tender / contract documents, cost estimates, including billing, variation/ deviation proposals, claims, etc.
Quality Assurance :
- To monitor and compile the QC procedures and QC reports with inspection details (Checklist, Subcontractor Test, etc.).
- Performing in-process and follow up inspection on each work segment to ensure compliance with the contract documents.
