Technical Head - Civil/Structures/Rail Projects/Metro Rail

Basically looking for 15+ yrs of experience, a strong civil and particularly structures guy. Arnd 15 yrs of exp majorly in rail projects & 3 to 4 yrs in metro rail mandatory.

Key Accountabilities:

Technical Area:

1. Apply expertise in the field of domain for projects including integrated delivery with experts

2. Advise project design team on technological developments and deployment in the area of expertise on specific projects.

3. Update management and clients of progress on projects.

4. Design for projects

5. Work closely with the global team on design standards

People:

Ensures that communication to the internal & external stakeholders is proper. Seamless & timely flow of information creates an environment of transparency and access to information.

Systems & Processes:

1. Identifies implements & continuously improves systems & processes in order to deliver greater effectiveness of service for the company and all stakeholders

2. Demonstrates & performs in accordance with sound business ethics, policies & procedures to give the highest possible perceived integrity in all supplier relationships.

Reporting:

Will be reporting to Director Operations.

Minimum - BE\B. Tech - CIVIL + Post Graduation.

No AMIE or Correspondence course but regular BE.

Functional Capabilities

- Thorough technical knowledge of Rail business in India including metro/high speed/conventional rail/ urban transport projects.

- Experience of having worked earlier such projects including execution, manpower planning, business development, client management etc.

- Experience on different projects and agencies is required.

Other skills required:

- The capability to communicate credibly to and influence a variety of audiences across the Operations environment, Senior Managers, clients, partners and other key Stakeholders

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritise, multi-task, and plan for future changes

- Be capable of making sound decisions - Customer/Consumer orientation is must.

- Be a Change Agent and Leads by example, possessing the excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to be an inspiring leader.

- Strong problem Solving capabilities

- Strong communications skills as all these positions require communicating internally to key stake holders locally and globally, and also to customers

- Be a team player

- Experience of having worked on multi team, multi-cultural environment

Experience:

Minimum 15-20 years of relevant experience

Exposure to multiple rail/ urban transport projects is expected.
