Technical Engagement Leader Job Description : - You will partner closely with the clients to deliver state-of-the-art outcomes by engineering solutions. - You will continue to expand your expertise in Data Science, Big Data, Analytics and Visualization tools/techniques daily to enable incremental innovation in on-going projects - At all times, you will clearly articulate and communicate with a diverse set of internal and external customers with varying degrees of technical proficiency and deliver critical business and process related information to mitigate any risks or failures - You will persistently look for opportunities to address customer needs by being a thought partner in every moment of engagement To succeed, you'd have technical experience and expertise in : A. For you to be successful, you must : - 10-12 years of relevant experience in Core Data Engineering/big data preferably in consulting firms - Possess strong analytical/logical thinking skills and clarity of thought - Demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities concerning global business fundamentals, business models, ethics, competitive analysis and cross-cultural/geographical sensitivities - Good to have : Experience working with Technology clients or in space of Marketing analytics B. You'll bring this to the table : - Experience in DWBI, data engineering, Big data technologies - Strong experience in architecture, design and implementation of data solutions in Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms - Hands on development experience in AWS or Azure stack - Data Lake, SQL DW and Power BI - Should have delivered Big data/Analytics engagements - Strong working experience in Agile Methodology - Must have successfully led large multiyear projects - (1-10M USD) - Manage senior stakeholder relationship to understand business priorities as well as manage expectations of client execution team on a day to day basis - Proactively identifies potential delivery issues and drives resolution to avoid customer impact and facilitate continuous improvement - Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills required. - Good team player with interpersonal skills - Nice to have : Implementation and migration experience in Hadoop ecosystem such as Spark, Scala, Python, Hive, HDFS. - Nice to have : Experience in analytics and ML tools such as Azure ML, R/Python or SAS - Ability to work in ambiguous situations with unstructured problems and anticipate potential issues/risks C. It would be exceptional, if you also have this : - Understanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologies - Proactively identifies potential delivery issues and drives resolution to avoid customer impact and facilitate continuous improvement - Should be hands on manager with strong fundamental knowledge and play a key role in mentoring project teams - Provides complex metrics and reporting support to all relevant stakeholders
