The Functional Consultant should:
- Consulting - covering all aspects; including presales and supporting the sales team, product demonstrations, analysis, implementation, and training of end users utilizing primarily Dynamics Business Central/NAV
- Business and Process Analysis
- Documenting 'as-is' and 'to-be' within accurate and detailed scoping documents.
- Liaising with developers and clients - act as a point of communication.
- Quality Assurance & Documentation Knowledge and Expertise.
- Over seven (7) plus years of Dynamics BC/NAV consultancy experience.
- Strong understanding of Data Migration activity and management.
- Experience in providing Pre-Sales Demonstrations
- Experience working on full life cycle implementations across multiple versions of Dynamics BC/NAV.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of core Microsoft Dynamics Business Central modules
- Microsoft SQL Server understanding
- Ability to create high-quality functional documentation and strong requirements-gathering skills.
- Must have good experience in modules such as Finance, Fixed Assets, Taxation, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Warehouse, Inventory, Manufacturing, Projects/Jobs, Human Resources, and Commerce (Shopify) and Bonded Warehouse, MRP/MPS.
- Require experience in Product demo and expert in solutions consulting in Business Central/NAV ERP
- LS Retail/LS Central and Shopify (Commerce) Integration, API integration with third-party applications/systems, CRM integration, and HHT integration experience will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Power Apps, Power BI, Jet Reports SRS Reports will be an added advantage.
- Must have experience in Product Demo, Project Management, Description & Documentation.
- Knowledge of users' access control will roles and rights, workflows, approval matrix, email notification setups, and system administration setups will be added advantages.
- Must be good in Requirement Gathering, Solution Development, Business Analysis, and Functional Consulting.
- Identify creative workarounds to meet requirements without the development of custom code.
- Understand the functional capabilities and limitations for out-of-the-box functionality as well as custom code.
- You will be the one to identify our customer's requirements and match them with technological capabilities and with Microsoft's continuous release plans.
- Have implemented MS Dynamics Solutions for various Industry domains, preferably in Manufacturing (Discrete / Process), Engineering / Professional Services, Trading, Retail, etc.
- Work along with the Solution Architect to prepare presentations / demos.
- Play the role of the Functional Consultant during the Project:
- Perform fit-gap analysis to identify the list of standard and customized functionality.
- Prepare the Functional Requirement Document (FRD), Functional Design Document (FDD), and co-ordinate with the technical team for Technical Design Document (TDD).
- Prepare data upload templates, test cases, test scenarios, and user manual based on the FRD.
- Perform user training and support the Client during user acceptance testing and post go-live support phase.
- Resolve Support tickets.
