Role : IT Solution Architect

Responsible For : Requirement gathering, creation of end to end Technology, Solution and Costing

Requirement - High Level :

- To analyze and capture business requirements for Technology component solutions from RFP documents, Business Process Maps, Internal stake holders and if required during customer discussions.

- Analyzing the requirement and propose end to end technology solution on various domains (i.e. LAN, WAN, Desktops, Systems, Voice and Tools) with optimum cost and to support the environment needed for meeting the business objectives.

- The candidate should have at least 4+ years of experience in IT solution architecting.

- Should have provided technology solutions involving all the above technology domains at least in one of the geographies and customer facing implementation.

- Preferably CCNA / MCSE / CCVP certified and strong communication skills.

- Additional knowledge in Server / Citrix / VMware sizing and architecture will be an added advantage.

Key Result Areas :

- Business Requirement gathering from RFP documents, Internal stake holders and the customer meetings

- Analyze the business requirements and propose / recommend appropriate end to end technology Solution with multiple options.

- Ability to ensure that all business requirements for clients are addressed thru this technology design in a cost effective and optimal way.

- To liaison with outside contractors and enable the costing.

- Methodical and confident of confirming inputs to RFP/MSA/SLA documentations.

- To liaison with all levels of IT and non-IT professionals.

- To be able to provide hands-on technical knowledge and assistance on routine work as well as project based.

- Work in different shifts and ready to travel to Onsite location as per Project requirements.

Knowledge & Skills Needed :

- Should have knowledge on all IT domains and expertise in 1-2 domains

- Hands on experience of LAN and WAN environments and components.

- Must have hands on experience on Firewalls.

- Experience in data and systems management.

- Policy compliance as per corporate guidelines.

- Escalations for critical IT related issues.

- Report generation.

- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels of internal and external staff.

- Good commercial knowledge and the understanding of businesses.

- Good background knowledge and ability to understand IT operations and systems/Networks on a range of hardware and software platforms.

- Must have knowledge of high end Servers on different platforms. (HP, IBM, SUN, DELL)

- Must have knowledge of NAS and Storage products.

- Practical knowledge of PC environments as standard office and development platforms.

- Knowledge of voice and data communication environments and components.

- Ability to communicate technical issues to individuals and groups, verbally and in writing, in a manner appropriate to the recipient.

- Ability to prepare business justifications for project expenditure.

- Good judgment in prioritizing tasks, projects and expenditure.
