Require experienced Machine Learning Architect for a leading Internet Portal based in Mumbai.

As a Machine Learning Architect you will use your strong experience with algorithms, data mining, big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Mahout, etc.) to develop predictive algorithms for recommendation systems and fraud detection.

Responsibilities :

- Architect, design and develop (hands-on) large-scale, complex systems.

- Rethink and create strategy & roadmap for building scalable solutions

- Implementing the tools and processes, handling performance, scale, availability, accuracy and monitoring

- Provide technical and architectural leadership for one or more software engineering teams.

- Use your technical influence to drive innovation and engineering standards/best practices across Engineering.

- Do research of new technology trends, come up with suggestions and subsequent deployment.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related engineering field with an emphasis on Machine Learning.

- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Mahout, Hive, Pig etc.

- Experience with data mining, machine learning, and/or information retrieval is highly desired.

- Experience with algorithm development involving real-world noisy data.

- Experience with statistical software e.g. R or MatLab.

- Proven track record of architecting and building scalable systems.

- Ability to quickly understand business problems, find patterns and insights within structured and unstructured data.

- Minimum 7 to 15 year of experience in a Technical Architect role

- Working in an internet Product company in a similar role will be preferred.
