Position: Technical Architect

Location: Mumbai

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Masters or Bachelors in Engineering from Tier 1 colleges

Experience, Technical skills & Knowledge Required:

- 8+years of experience in product development

- Experience in developing highly scalable, fault tolerant, distributed backend services over LAMP

- Ability to map business requirements to technical specifications for developments

- Hands on experience in technologies like - o Backend : Java/ PHP/ NodeJS

Frontend : ReactJS/ Angular JS

DB : MySQL, Dynamo DB

Prerequisites

- Strong communication skills to communicate with distant teams

- Well-organized, self-motivated, and precise

- Enjoys working with teams on challenging projects

- Project/Project management experience preferred

- Open to fast-pace and demanding startup environments

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Technical Architect we are on the look out of a lateral and abstract thinker who can help us solve the real-world problems. You need to assist us in making our product more robust and scalable. You will be required to understand the realities of the customer world, be wise about technology and platform choices without being too rigid about them and a team player who can collaborate with efficient multi-skilled engineers to make this happen. Your key responsibilities will include

- Design and Define the overall structure of the system

- Understand product requirements and features and accordingly design the architecture

- Make best choice of technology which will be customer friendly

- Break down complex projects in to achievable targets for developers

- Oversee working of developers and monitor products deadlines

- Liaise with business/ customer success and product teams to streamline and prioritize the product feature development

- Be a tough leader for timelines but approachable to clarify doubts

- Constantly striving to improve software development process and team productivity

- Hands on with key development technologies
