Technical Architect - Insurance Startup

Our Client who is one of the leading Insurance startups are looking for a Technical Architect to design, develop and maintain a scalable state-of-the-art, paradigm changing product in software development in the insurance Tech domain.

- Responsibilities include evaluating technologies, developing proof-of-concept prototypes, designing and developing complete end-to-end products. The ideal candidate should be able to mentor, guide and train other engineers as well as able to do POC and handover to development team.

- He/she should also be able to work with different stakeholders such as business owners, leadership and customers.

- The Technical Architect will be part of the core engineering team, entrusted with the complete architecture, design and development of the product.

Responsibilities :

- Determine organization needs and identify system specifications

- Analyze the needs of large systems and breaking them down into smaller manageable parts

- Plan and design the structure of technology systems, discuss these with the client

- Able to judge the trade-offs to make well thought out decisions, design choices and build the system for extensibility and robustness.

- Communicate system requirements to software designers and developers; explain system structure to them and provide assistance throughout the assembly process.

- Choose suitable software, hardware and suggest integration methods.

- Oversee development and implementation of assigned programs and guide teammates

- Help resolve technical problems as and when they arise

- Carry out testing procedures to ensure systems are running smoothly

- Ensure that systems satisfy quality standards and procedures

- Work with senior IT personnel to devise plans for future IT requirements of the organization

Required Skills :

- Strong knowledge of data structure, algorithms and coding

- Strong analytical, problem solving and design skills.

- Ability to assimilate information, updated technical know-how, and ability to think ahead

- Proven experience in any high-level programming languages like C#, Java

- Proven experience in database technologies (SQL & NoSQL)

- Experience in front-end development frameworks (Angular, jQuery, etc.)

- Working knowledge of developing Restful Micro services, Queues, Elastic search

- Experience in cloud computing and cloud Technologies
