Job description of the role: Responsibilities and duties - Develop and maintain information technology which will be competitive and cost-effective - Deliver solution architecture for infrastructure support (such as cloud storage and compute) and ensure technical delivery of those solutions leveraging third-party providers - Delivery solution architecture to enable application development of world-class innovative software solutions - Align the development of the various platforms across the enterprise Some of the specific responsibilities of this role include: - Be the most senior and seasoned technical resource supporting projects - Manage solution architect(s) that support WEB, Mobility & IOT - Be prepared and able to get into the details of the technical delivery to ensure successful execution when needed - Analyse business requirements to drive technical solutions and their framework in collaboration with business relationship managers - Develop technology roadmaps that support capability models and maintain the future state - Contribute to test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects - Stay abreast of how technology is currently impacting and driving the industry - Assist in determining product direction, vendor selections/relationships, and technical solutions globally - Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals, and strategies to the business relationship managers as well as business leaders - Initiate and deliver technology evaluations and recommendations - Maintain in-depth knowledge of IT industry best practices, technologies, architectures, and emerging technologies - Review new and existing program/project architecture for compliance with IT standards, policies and architectural plans - Ensure proper solutions align with internal standards and are aligned with the architects supporting other divisions Basic qualifications - Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, engineering, or equivalent - 10+ years of experience in solution delivery, vendor management, and enterprise architecture - 5+ years- hands on experience in mobile & cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) - Experience with leading project resources to deliver business value - Strong understanding of cloud solutions in the IAAS, PAAS, and SAAS space - Demonstrated leadership in collaboration with business users to drive strategy and innovation agenda for competitive advantage - Must have good infrastructure background supporting application development projects - Application development expertise and agile methodologies a plus - Experience in a startup environment a plus - Expert with the following technologies: a) Ruby on Rails, PHP, Web Services, Node.JS b) Cloud solutions such as AWS and Azure Job Location - Pune Budget : 18 LPA to 25 LPA
