Position - TAM (Technical Account Manager)

The person will be managing the technical account relationships; will be an enterprise support role. Will be working to bridge the gap from customer's queries between support case & backend support.

Somebody who would be spoc for customers & would be responsible Project management, planning & implementation for the big events or may the up gradation of new events along with Cost Management will be a right fit.

Hands on technology is not a mandatory since its gono be more of customer driving role

The Technical Consultant functions as part of the Developer Support team to ensure key enterprise customer success in building applications and services on the company's platform.

The Technical Consultant provides assistance to the customer as an expert on the full line companies- services and the customer's architecture in support of strategy questions, project planning and launch and ongoing operational issues.

Act as a single point of contact to Enterprise Accounts :

- Field all cases from Enterprise customers during business hours

- Participate in customer requested meetings (onsite or via phone)

- Work with some of the leading technologists around the world

- Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, detailed prelaunch planning

- Make recommendations on how new companies offerings fit in the company architecture

- Champion and advocate for customer requirements within Company (e.g. feature request)

- Has access and knows how to use all key customer resolution tools across all service groups to facilitate rapid resolution of customer concerns

- Work directly with Company Web Service engineers to ensure that customer issues are resolved as expediently as possible

Must have demonstrated expertise in one or more of these areas :

- Programming / scripting (Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, and/or PHP)

- Systems administration (Linux and/or Windows)

- Networking (DNS, IPsec, BGP, VPN, Load Balancing)

- Experience working within the software development or Internet industries is highly desired

- Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills

- Strong customer focus

- Ability to juggle many tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment

- Experience working directly with Enterprise customers

- Open tickets with other software companies, back channel, if needed

- Available in non-business hours to handle urgent issues

Preferred Qualifications :

- The right person will be highly technical and analytical, possess 5-7 years of implementation / consulting experience

- Previous experience as a Technical Account Manager/Consultant in a large enterprise customer environment

- Technical degree required; Computer Science or Math background highly desired; working knowledge of software development practices and technologies highly desired

Experience with Internet service offerings is a plus
