Tech Specialist - Functional SME - Platform Services Team - Investment Bank

We have an excellent opportunity with one of the leading investment bank for the position of Tech Specialist Functional SME .

The Role:-

- This role is to be a member of the Platform Services team in India, working on end to end solution design, capacity planning and Technical Specialization for new SOA implementations.

- Technically leading the business engagements and providing required technical steer to SOA Programmes

- Working with senior technical community in India and UK to deliver standards, guidelines, reusable frameworks, engagement model & tools pertaining to SOA/ Services projects

- Driving technical forums & sessions with project managers, design leads & architects across teams.

- The role involves liaison with Business Users, Business Analyst and Requirements Analyst who will be responsible for definition and documentation of detailed Functional and Non-Functional requirements and to provide significant input to the future design of systems.

- Deliver components of, embed strategies and protect alignment to the new technology transformation architecture

Your Responsibilities:-

If you are looking to apply for the role of Technical Specialist, you will be required to:

- Conduct design reviews for Services and its Franchise projects.

- Provide technical guidance across a broad range of Service Platform and Enterprise Service Bus components.

- Provide design guidelines around the SOA stack.

- Ensure the quality & adherence to Standards for designs deliverables.

- Mentor Leads & developer by guiding & helping in the resolution of technical issues.

- Own the architecture & design deliverables as required by the Enterprise Service Bus implementation.

- Building organizational standards and guidelines for SOA implementations

- Liaise with infrastructure and environments team as required to define & set up a project environment

- Create solutions and deliver in an agile way

- Personal development and mentorship of technical team members

Essential:

- Engineering or computer science background

- Strong experience in architecture/design/development of SOA applications

- 10+ years development experience in SOA / IBM Middleware applications out of which a minimum of 4 years should be as a technical Lead / Specialist.

- At least 3 Years of experience in designing large and complex Process driven Integration solutions

- At least 3 years of experience of designing solutions using SOA architecture preferably over IBM tool stack (WMB/IIB, WMQ, DP, WSRR)

- Experience of working on client facing roles (preferably onsite in US or Europe) on large Services implementation projects

- Able to work in a multi-cultural, international environment

- Expertise on designing, developing & deploying complex solutions using IBM Integration Bus, IBM - WebSphere Service Registry and Repository

- Expert in specifications like WSDLs/ XSDs

- Experience of using tools like IBM WMB, IIB, & IBM WSRR

- Good understanding of Security concepts and patterns

- Strong development experience in Web Services and SOA
