Role: Research Manager
Role Purpose: Provide the sales team with market and customer intelligence and knowledge on offerings
Role Responsibilities :
- Intelligence on markets and customers
- Analyze opportunities for prospective clients by sector and geography.
- Research on potential prospects using the internet and databases, developing an assessment of the needs of the prospect, the organization structure and decision makers, and potential for Tech Mahindra to assist them.
Knowledge demonstration
- Develop a deep knowledge of Tech Mahindra portfolio of offerings, GTM strategies and be able to explain the fitment in relation to an organizations requirements.
- Develop and tailor material to assist the sales team in explaining key features and benefits.
- Conduct high level demonstrations on the core product range.
- Analyze our competency with market requirement and make recommendations
- Analyze competitors
- Quality solutions and responses
- Facilitate discussions within the sales circle to develop the win strategy and theme, and be the anchor for the strategy until submission.
Required Skills and Knowledge :
- Understanding of, and experience in, business to business sales.
- Ability to understand research, synthesize and communicate tangible actions based on findings. Verbal and Written.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of technical information, with the ability to convey this information to both technical and non-technical audience.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft power point, word and use of internet as a research tool. Working knowledge of collaboration and graphical tools InDesign and its likes.
