Roles & Responsibilities 1. Technology Architecture and Roadmap - Create a robust Architecture for the new Web Platform looking at all Functional and non- Functional aspects including Security, Performance, Scalability and Availability - Ensure that the roadmap contains the new and yet-to-release features of the core base products like Adobe Experience Manager, React, Redux and Node and various other frameworks - Must be able to create a validation framework to measure and report the effectiveness of Architecture, like Rozanski-Woods frame - Must be able to create a culture of industry benchmarking before releasing or opting any new product/framework and be able to define a robust roadmap and evolution of the same with respect to the current and future needs of the One Web Platform - Collaborate with CIO, One Web team, Marketing teams, Data teams across the organization to create a sustainable and achievable framework for the platform - Must be able to create a strong understanding of the backend infrastructure and systems while delivering the front-end experience and bring both together to create a dynamic, personalized and customer first integrated asset - Bring aspects of various marketplaces and integrations into the ecosystem of One Web so that customer moves seamlessly across all webs without knowing that they are deployed on varied backend platforms. E.g. SSO frame while the context is seamlessly carried over - Work collaboratively with various partners to define the Architecture of key features of platform including Video hosting, Caching, Security feature like DOS - Executing POCs to validate technology roadmaps, feasibilities & possibilities with scalable solutions which are also versatile, inter-operable, can co-exist in the overall ecosystem and cost effective - Leverage and sponsor innovation work, both through internal incubators and BFL's external start-up network to create, evaluate, and introduce novel technical capabilities into the platform - Foster a culture of innovation and engineering excellence across the Enterprise: modern engineering practices, adoption of open source and open standards, creating a culture of collaboration and efficiency - Ensure that throughout the year including peak sales season, digital assets continue to perform the best by suggesting robust technology frameworks, right infrastructure, and correct data flow processes - Analyze data like drop-offs, bounce rate etc. to constantly evaluate and improve process flows and to identify any tool ideas tor processes improvements that can be built to attract the online customer - Evaluate competitor's digital marketing strategies and improve/enhance BFLs based on what is the best in market in this space 2. Core Development and Processes - Create a robust platform which delivers high performance pages and journeys for a digital asset with 100K+ pages and 100+ unique buy journeys for products - Partner with Engineering teams across BFL to create an environment that provides an optimal Developer Experience for, from IDE and CI/CD through to IaaS provisioning and Cloud Native Service on-boarding frameworks - Work with a large frame of developers and architects at Partner end, drive them towards a common goal of delivering a high-quality website with right technologies in place - Be able to set up right frameworks for logging, caching, exception handling and similar to ensure that code carries all the flavors of the Core Architecture defined earlier in the lifecycle of project - Set up best practices and right standards for coding, deployment and testing the code for all tracks including AEM, React, Node, Cloud Manager, Dispatcher, Akamai and more - Create a frame for highly efficient code writing with right branching strategy, peer-reviews, code merge, and code testing - Provide functional and technical support in resolving Production issues and Customer pain points - Define development processes to create a seamless flow of code from partner to BFL end along with key integrations which need to be done for fetching backend data, - Able to create a robust KPI frameworks to define and measure the code quality wrt.to Customer experience and SEO like page performance, 404 error control, Google Core Vitals, Dareboost score 3. Leadership and Team development - Add strategic value to processes through competition mapping and best practices adoption - Scout the technology landscape to ensure adoption of emerging solutions and maintain innovative edge - Participate in Project presentation with project priorities, timelines, quarterly plans, etc. to Vertical Head for sign-off - Inspire and influence others to think differently, solve problems, and seize opportunities - Work with cross-functional teams to set and achieve targets for cross-selling - Determine individual training needs & development plans to build expertise and enhance skills - Set objectives, conduct reviews, and close appraisal processes for the team as per timelines - Ensure high employee engagement and morale through right management interventions while ensuring a deep emotional intelligence in approach - Establish performance expectations and regularly review individual performance of the team - Identify and create development opportunities for team members to enhance technical knowledge Ideal Candidate : - 16-22 years of experience in leading large technology deliveries - Must have lead teams in tune to 40+ people across multiple domains and skills - FinTech or Ecommerce experience is desirable - In-depth understanding of Enterprise data platforms and front-end web technologies and be able to drive a team of developers and architects effectively - Certified in Adobe AEM (6.1, 6.3, 6.5) at multiple levels, including Architect - Hands-on skills in technology is a primary requirement, specifically in the following: AEM 6.x (mandatory skill), AEM Analytics, Adobe Target, Launch/DTM, Adobe Campaign, SEO, CDN & API management, Other WCM tools, Salesforce tools, CIAM - Must be able to understand and account for Enterprise components in architecture like data lake, EDW, CDP, Salesforce CRM, API Gateways and ESBs - Must be able to drive conversation on various Cloud components across multiple clouds like Azure and AWS and Google cloud. Must have a decent understanding and hands on experience amounting to 3+ years in various compute, storage and other critical components - Must have led large scale Content migration or re-platforming projects involving multi-faceted teams from Content Ops, Business Analysts and Content production guys - Relevant experience with Agile and Scaled Agile frameworks, DevSecOps methodologies, Lean principles & continuous improvement mindset - A solid understanding of eCommerce and Digital Marketing landscape, sufficiently strong level of business acumen of the domain. - Understanding of security, risk, and compliance management processes in the context of IT solutions delivery - Must be able to lead, mentor and guide a team of Senior React developers, Frontend Developers, Devops and Cloud Architects - Graduate in Engineering from a Tier 1 college
