Tech Coordinator - Footwear/Accessories

Reporting to Director

Job Mission :

1. Managing the sample quality and quantity.

2. Ensure track able sample process according to the timelines.

3. Complete readiness of technical package for production steps moving forward.

Mission for the responsible for this position :

- Implementing the Chain production strategy to assure achievement of the objectives set by the Chain Management.

Seniority Criteria:

1. Over 15 years experience in technical field and at least 8 years management position.

2. Organizing and planning his/her job with global vision, working by objectives rather than by orders or tasks.

3. Identifying potential issues in a foreseeing manner.

4. Providing effective solutions to ensure timely sample delivery.

5. Resolving problems along the development and production process independently.

Job Functions :

1. Reviewing the product details e.g. color, material, fitting, finish etc.

2. Approving the confirmation sample by issuing Approval Sheet with highlighted comments for mass production

3. Setting up the timeline to review grading sample upon confirmation sample is approved

4. Reviewing and confirming the workmanship, construction details and fitting of grading sample

5. Ensuring the completeness of technical pack for mass production

6. Overseeing technical issues and incidence and providing direction to solve them

7. Giving support and provide instructions to technician in brands / areas

Academic level, knowledge and Experience required :

1. Academic level:

- Vocational high school or above most preferred in major of footwear engineering

- Specialization course or on-job training in footwear and accessories technical field

2. Specific knowledge:

- Raw material knowledge - Expert level

- Production process knowledge - Advanced

- Manufacturing process knowledge - Expert level

3. Languages:

- English: Level 4 or equivalent level

4. Experience:

- Over 15 years working experience responsible for technical field in Footwear / Accessories industry

5. IT knowledge:

- Excel: Primary Level

- Outlook: Intermediate Level

- Power Point: Primary Level
