Position Name : TM / TL General Ledger

Experience: 4-5 yrs in GL

Education: CA mandatory (1st attempt / 2nd attempt can apply)

Location : Chennai, Ambattur

Shift : US shift

Job Description :

- Drive teams performance for month and year end, ensuring all activities, up to and including the first narratives are completed which includes understanding and articulating the impact of the results

- Responsible for the maintenance of a complete and accurate Fixed Assets register and report preparation including review and understanding of variances month on month basis

- Preparation of monthly / quarterly schedules, trend and variance analysis including narratives and impact understanding

- Preparation and full understanding of the balance sheet reconciliations, including what makes up the balances, supporting documentation and analytical review from prior months

- Closely monitor AP / AR/ Payroll / Tax processes for end to end ownership of financials

- Engagement with various business to get sign off on Physical verification of Fixed Assets

- Responsible for the model, baseline data and collection, trend graphs and comparatives

- Responsible for all customer standard reporting and validation where contractual obligations allow

- Updating and maintaining best in class Knowledge Transfer documents, alongside the business finance teams

- Acts as the gatekeeper for the General accounting ensuring compliance with standard processes & controls

- Works across the SSC teams, understands the end to end life cycle for all processes and act as a first point contact for contract related questions

- Delivers ad hoc analysis as required

FUNCTIONAL/ OPERATIONAL:

- Manage day to day operations

- Close tracking of allocations & issue management

- Driving efficiency and accuracy

- Ensuring delivery on SLAs

- Review & Improving processes

- Manage monthly KROs for the team.

- Manage shrinkage by managing planned & non-planned leaves.

- Analyze top errors through QA reports and action planning.

- Participate in daily/weekly/monthly review with AGM/GM Operations.

Coordinate with Business HR for various HR related activities including handling grievances, closing action points, employee handling, etc.
