Team Manager - Machine Learning

Ideal candidate would have:

Responsibilities:

The candidate will be required to work on new and emerging areas of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Work on creating assets like Demo Models, White Papers, participate in upcoming conferences. He will be managing a small team of associates and be responsible for building and designing new solutions, guide team on working in new research areas

- Overall experience of 7-12 years

- Experience in handling team size of 5-10 resources.

- High energy and self-motivated professional with the ability to make things happen, work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.

- Flexible to relocate to other cities

- Sound understanding of some of the Machine learning techniques like:

Logistic/Linear/, Segmentation, Decision trees, Recommendation Engines, Survival Modelling, Support Vector Machines, Boosting, Dimensionality Reduction, Neural Networks, RBM, Deep Learning, Data Visualization, Text Analytics (LSI, LDA), Topic Modelling

- Proficiency in interpreting results of above mentioned Artificial Intelligence techniques

- Knowledge of some of the analytics tools like R, Python

- Good to have knowledge of Big Data Technologies like MapReduce/Hadoop /SAP HANA/Storm/Kafka / SPARK/ Tensor Flow

- Should be able to translate Business Problem to a ML(Machine Learning) Problem and ML solutions to a viable Business solution

- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and resolve problems in a client focused fashion

- Fluency in English both verbally and written

- Excellent communication skills and willingness to go an extra mile in terms of performance

- Excellent interpersonal, influencing skills while dealing with all levels of management and cultural sensitivity

- Should be open to work from client location (within or outside the country) which may be different from base branch

- Good in project management as well as people management skills

- Knowledge and experience in people management

- Prior experience in Research and Development as well as publishing white papers is an added advantage

Qualification:

- Bachelor /Masters /M.Phil/ PhD from Engineering /Computer Science.
