Team Manager - Investment Strategy - BFSI

Client: UK based MNC

Timing: UK shift: 12.30pm-9.30pm (centralised pick up & drop available)

Location: Powai

Require candidates having max 30 days notice

Prior Experience:

- Proven investment industry experience (ideally 5-7 years in an investment role) with exposure to Alternatives investment strategies.

- CFA charterholder or any progress towards it would be preferred.

- MBA or Postgraduate degree in Economics/Stats with a strong academic track record

- Strong excel & VBA skills

- Strong interest in the institutional investment landscape and strategy setting process

Job Description:

- Manage a centralized mailbox and lead the sourcing & screening process of new private markets investment opportunities

- Generate pipelines / forward calendars and ensure all asset class & client teams are receiving the deliverables they need in a timely fashion

- Lead the due diligence quantitative analyses process for private market investment opportunities, requiring sharp analytical skills as well as a strong attention to detail and quantitative aptitude

- Review cash flow pacing models, valuation models, pitchbooks for prospects and clients that are produced by junior members of the team

- Review RFP data related to investment research, client commitments and other data specific to private markets

- Manage industry news publications, serve as primary point of contact for private markets' news/market/client inquiries and maintain centralized repository of industry publications

- Build and maintain new manager relationships ; serve as lead relationship manager on investment manager and client relationships as required

- Mentor junior member of the teams and support Quants Leader on strategic projects and process improvements
