Title: Regional Head -TL - SMEAG

Job description for SMEAG:

1. Ability to handle a team of 3-6 people

2. Good at communication and handling client relationship. (Clients in SMEAG are corporates with turnover of over Rs. 50 crores and upto Rs. 1500 Crores with loan requirements of over Rs. 10 crores and upto Rs. 100 crores and hence should be able to communicate and develop rapport with CFOs and promoters of the company). Should be able to be recognized by the company for the first preference for any opportunity with respect to lending. Similarly should be able to follow up and recover overdues from clients under stress and should be aware of restructuring norms for restricting to be done if any.

3. Good understanding of financial statements like P and L account, balance sheet, cash flow statement and others. Should be able to prepare, interpret and draw conclusions from the financial statements and bank statements.

4. Knowledge of various industries like trade, engineering, pharma, gems and jewelers and Infra.

5. Understanding of various financial products and assessment of CC, OD, Term loan, packing credits, buyers credit, LC, BG and forex products.

6. Good at co-ordination with various departments like risk, legal, operations and branches. Also external environment like peer banks under multiple and consortium lending.

7. Should be able to prepare proposal notes, CMA and take the cases through risk and also present the case to the committees for sanction. Post the sanction should liase and get the disbursement done and hence should possess basic documentation knowledge.

8. Should be aware of RBI circulars and recent guidelines on lending like SMA reporting, EWS triggers, Unhedged FC exposures.

9. Should be a go-getter, guide and motivate the team members for following up and achieving targets of Fee, NII, book growth and ensuring collections and exits of stressed clients.

10. Operational knowledge of system like Finacle.

Job Description

1. Will be handling portfolio of existing clients with average ticket size of Rs. 30 crores and portfolio size of Rs. 4000 crores and 30 to 40 clients.

2. Should complete the renewals of the existing clients and AQRs within timlines

3. Interact and develop relationship with existing clients and take up enhancement in limits by finding opportunities.

4. Recover overdues from clients and also identify early stress and exit the relationship which is under stress and overdues.

5. Prepare proposal notes and CMA. Get the proposal cleared from risk and also present the case to the committees for sanction.

6. Co-ordinate for documentation and get the same completed and follow up for limit set up and disbursement of limits

7. Through rapport with clients, generate leads and also ensure cross sell opportunities like opening of salary and savings account, insurance products, generating additional float

8. Prepare and timely submit the internal and external MIS within timelines.

9. Ensure regular monitoring of all accounts and taking actions as per identified irregularities.

10. Coordinate with legal, risk, operations, branches and other support teams for necessary action and client requirements.
