Team Leader/Manager - Syndication Loans

DESIGNATION : Team Leader / Manager,

JOB LOCATION : Bangalore / Chennai

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 8+ years

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supervise a team 25 FTEs

- Work allocation and prioritization

- Ensuring deliverables related to Syndicated loan boarding and servicing, both from participant and agency side

- Candidate will be managing teams involved in seamless processing of boarding new loans, ongoing servicing in the form of handling advances, payments, rate changes, letter of credit updates, foreign currency loan servicing, static data maintenance

- Should be able to think critically to ensure understanding of all KPI's and KRI's in loan processing domain

- Should have good system level and lifecycle level knowledge, ability to focus on handling cash breaks, reconcile between different systems

- Hands on AFS system knowledge will be an advantage

- Provide training to the new joiners and update team on any process changes

- Responsible for all the process escalations and their resolutions in a timely manner

- Be pro-active in looking for process improvements and implementation of the same

- Responsible for periodic calls and tasks audit and ensure findings are resolved

- Responsible for managing productivity, accuracy and timeliness as per benchmark requirements

- Interface with the client for ongoing process reviews, issue resolution via client calls/emails

CRITICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

- Strong focus on process results, accuracy, Loans boarding and servicing functions

- Ability to focus on process improvements and innovation to create business benefits, increase customer satisfaction levels

- Good analytical skills and effective time management in prioritizing work

- Good understanding of BFS vertical and business knowledge required

- Should possess good training and coaching skills

- Flexible and adaptable to change

- Should be a team player

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

- Excellent communication and client handling skills

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

- External - 12+ Years of Experience, related domain experience 8+ years,

- Should be MLM certified

- Candidate shall be responsible for all risk management & compliance activities as applicable to this functional role.
