Team Leader/Assistant Manager - Data Governance

Essential Functions

Data Governance

- Create and implement Data Governance Policies & Procedures.

- Assist business in creating Business process workflows and optimization.

- Collect and manage metadata, including Business Glossary and Data Lineage.

- Metadata Analyst responsible for collecting and analyzing metadata /data lineage

- Good to have alongside above

Data Management

- Experience in Data Governance, Information Management (Master Data Management OR metadata management OR reference data management)

- Gather periodic project status and issues from domain leads.

- Create/maintain project plans, communications plans and other required project documentation.

- Create and Publish program status reports.

- Create and maintain the Data Governance Portal for assigned tasks: manage list of open issues (Share Point); add/update documents, remove stale information, post announcements.

- Support and assist DGO in creating Data Governance deliverables; manage changes to documents and posts updates to portal.

- Create announcements, training materials.

- Monitor data governance metrics and SLAs, assuring required KPI levels are within established thresholds.

- Creating & Implementing Data Governance Policies & Procedures, Data Quality Rules, Business Rules, Data standards, Data Lineage, Data Quality Expert.
