Description :
The Enterprise Operations and Technology (EO&T) Enterprise Supply Chain (ESC) Third Party Utility (TPU) provides operational support, process guidance and quality assurance and quality control oversight to businesses across Company, leveraging a central utility infrastructure, standardized processes and operating procedures in order to execute robust risk management activities throughout the third-party management life cycle.
The TPU Third Party Risk Analyst Team Lead will be responsible for executing third-party risk management activities in support of Company's Third Party Management Program, including the implementation of key, standardized processes related to compliance with Company's policies and standards; guiding and liaising with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring the timely and effective completion of pre-contract due diligence and post-contract ongoing monitoring activities and providing input & support for the reporting of third-party related metrics.
Responsibilities :
Provide support to Company businesses for the execution of third-party risk management activities, including:
- Quality control reviews of Company's Management Plans for higher risk third-party relationships
- Data quality reviews of Company businesses - Exit Strategy Plans
- Reviewing a third party's execution of business process requirements in accordance with operating procedures
- Review results of third-party risk monitoring activities providing credible challenges to, and quality checks of, such results
- Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews for third-party risk management activities and provide credible challenges to accountable/responsible parties
- Monitor progress on agreed upon third-party remediation activities and escalate issues as necessary
- Liaise with Third Party Officers (TPOs) and Business Activity Owners (BAOs) to provide guidance on policy compliance and overall third-party risk management requirements
- Conduct onsite third-party visits to assess compliance with Company policies and standards, where appropriate
- Support reporting activities as required
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree is preferred
- Preferably 8+ years of direct, relevant experience in third-party risk identification and management, operational risk management, compliance and/or audit
- Ideal candidate would have experience in the financial services industry and a working knowledge of banking regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a strong sense of urgency
- Strong organization skills, with proven ability to successfully manage multiple priorities
- Excellent relationship management skills with ability to build partnerships across various Company businesses
- Strong risk, process, and project management skills with proven ability to influence and drive results across a diverse team of functional stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, pragmatic problem solver and forward thinker with ability to act independently
- Ability to assess level of risk exposure based on identified risk characteristics
- Excellent communication skills and fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Proven ability to interact effectively with diverse cultures and backgrounds
- Proficient in MS Office applications
