We are currently hiring for a Leading Reinsurance MNC in Bangalore for the role of a Team Lead Quality Assurance - Assistant Vice President. Please find the details of the role mentioned below:
Role Objective:
To provide proactive support to ensure the data quality for the reinsurance business in Asia such as:
- Ensure data entered into contract systems meets guidelines and data quality standards
- Support providing report and maintenance of Asia Data Quality Framework
- Sct as "business expert" and provide training on various SR tools
- Support and provide coaching to other colleagues in BS Asia especially BS Bangalore
- Manages QA team in Bangalore ensuring all tasks are completed on time to required standard and ensures fair allocation of work
- Motivates and coaches QA team members
- works with other team leaders to meet BS objectives
- Basic understanding of system architecture and data flow. High level process understanding of upstream and downstream functions in either P&C or L&H
Main Tasks:
Team Management
- Manage team to ensure delivery of all assigned tasks
- Recommend training and development for team members with focus on BS Bangalore
- Mentor the team- Be able to coach/guide the team on problem solving,
- Primary focus is on day-to-day deliverable of routine and defined outputs with minimal supervision and operational discretion
Data Quality and Processes:
- Contribute to the improvement and assurance of data quality in admin tools as well as processes in order to achieve higher efficiency and quality
- Assists in maintenance of Asia Business Services process flow charts
- Maintains Business services knowledge database/sharepoint
- Awareness about RCSA, audits (like regulatory), ability to recognize operational events and incidents. Participate and support various audits
Reporting :
- Provides reports to support Asia Data Quality Framework
- Provides standard reports for Client Markets Asia
Business Expert :
- Participates in UATs
- Supports and assist with training
- Act as business experts on SR tools and provide risk management as well as compliance support
Desired Candidate Profile:
Professional experience :
- Strong L&H or P&C reinsurance/insurance knowledge
- Strong knowledge and experience in reporting tools
- Intermediate people management skills
Language :
- Good command of English
