Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outbound Sales Team Lead to manage a team of sales representatives who engage in proactive Outbound sales activities. The sales team lead will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the team by implementing effective sales strategies, supporting and developing team members, and achieving sales targets through proactive outbound calling efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and guiding the outbound sales team. This includes setting goals, providing training and coaching, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring the team's overall productivity and effectiveness.
- Work closely with the sales management to develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans.
- Help define target markets, identify potential leads, and establish sales targets and quotas for the team.
- Monitor the performance of individual team members and the team as a whole. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, call volume, and revenue generated.
- Provide feedback and implement strategies to improve performance.
- Identify training needs and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for the sales team.
- Conduct regular sales training sessions, share best practices, and help team members improve their sales skills and techniques.
- Continuously evaluates and enhances the outbound sales process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement sales tools and technologies to improve productivity.
- Prepare regular sales reports, analyze sales data, and present insights and recommendations to the higher management.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of prior experience in sales, preferably in outbound sales, is essential.
- Should have a solid understanding of sales principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Strong leadership skills are crucial to effectively manage and guide a sales team.
- Should have the ability to inspire and motivate team members, set clear goals, and provide guidance and support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and develop strategies to improve performance.
- Proficiency in MS Office and call center software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
