Sales Manager(Team Lead) - Frieght Forwarding
Core responsibilities of the job:
- To meet its sales objectives and continuously work towards enhancing the customer base of the Area, maintain the existing customers and add new customers to the Area concerned.
- Ensure Quarterly & Annual Budgets are achieved for Self on GP targets
- Ensure Quarterly and Annual Budgets are met for all team members (with more than 6 months) on GP targets
- Ensure Weekly sales review along with team members as per sales strategy & submission of KPI reports ,monthly to GM/NSM before 10th of every month.
- Ensure all customers in Target list are profiled correctly and the profiles are shared with visiting stakeholders like MD /HOS/ Products / RDMs, a week in advance prior to schedule of visit
- Mandatory CIS updation and monitoring for Self & Team members (Qualified Target Pipeline / Top 20 Opportunities / Visits / Joint Sales Visits)
- Sales Managers to ensure a validated and robust customer target list is shared for facilitating support from RO Product teams and that minimum 5 customers per product are shared and mutually agreed every month for business development conversion by Product Heads.
- Ensure Minimum 1 New customers to be gained by self every Quarter.
- Minimum 40 visits to be done every month by Sales Manager both Individual and accompanied Sales Team /OPS / CS / GM/BM)
- Focus on strategic and Global Key Account Management to help build long term business relationships.
- Grow and expand customer base from local to regional and global scopes and providing higher revenue margins to help meet and exceed freight forwarding targets.
- To lead, influence and energize team Members
- Achieve the location's sales budget and other related sales KPIs, implementation of business plans.
- Assist in preparing the annual sales budget and formulating business strategies to meet the same.
- Managing and develop needs of team members.
