Data Analyst

Job Duties :

Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle of analytics project analysis to include requirements gathering, solution formation, and design, understanding of data requirement, ETL and data acquisition, Data cleansing, activities and design Exploratory data analysis and insight generation, presentation of EDA, model building, validation, implementation and communication with stakeholder. Data analysts will develop analytics models sis and, static and ad-hoc reporting, dashboard and visualization.

Capabilities with the use of statistical methods like basic statistics, linear regression, PCA, clustering, Logistic regression, Time series analysis, etc. Machine Learning algorithms - SVA, Tree-based algorithm, XP boost ANN, etc. Deep learning, text data analysis, basic tools Excel, PowerPoint and MS Access,. Programming tools - R, Python, SAS, VBA Macro, Visualization tool Power BI, Tableau, etc. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

Job Responsibilities:

- Mainly into machine learning, python, R programming

- Understand the client requirement and business problem

- Convert the business problem to mathematical or statistical problem

- Understand the data requirement

- Analyze data and generate insight - result interpretation and presentation interpret data, analyze data results using statistical techniques and provide adhoc and ongoing reports

- Work on Data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

- Model development using statistical methods / ML/ text mining

- User-friendly tool development and solution implementation in the production environment

- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

- Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate

- Work with management & Client to prioritize business and information needs

Job Requirements :

- Strong Data Sense

- Strong Communication and Presentation skills

- Proven working experience as a data analyst in reputed organization

- Knowledge of statistics/ML/Text mining and experience using statistical software for analyzing datasets (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access, VBA Macros, R, Python, SAS, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

- Adept at queries and drawing out the observations and key elements to presenting findings

- Experience should include hands-on delivery of projects in analysis and statistical modeling

- Must possess ability to evaluate and guide a team of data scientists on predictive modeling projects

- Strong application knowledge on tools SQL, R, SAS and Python

- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of Logistic Regression, Random Forest, XgBoost, CatBoost, New Neutral, Genetic Algorithm, Reinforcement Learning

- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills. Ability to create client-ready presentations and drive project-related discussion with key stakeholders

- Knowledge of REST APIs and other tech to implement predictive models in live operations workflow will be a plus

- Experience of working on sales proposals and RFPs will also be a plus

- High aptitude to learn quickly, assimilate to new teams and projects, and work well under pressure with appropriate attention to detail
