Position:Team Lead

Department-Compliance

Location:Mumbai

Minimum Exp:12 Yrs.

JD:

Good understanding of banking operations; namely

- account opening and KYC

- trade finance/remittances

- international AML regulations

- Shall be responsible for the following activities

- Laying down KYC policies for India for different business segments in line with the extant regulations and Group AML Policy

- Coordination with international branches for development/maintenance of AML framework in line with their regulatory framework and Group Policy

- Maintenance of Group Policy, Systems & Procedures for screening against sanctions lists issued by various international regulators and internal caution lists

- Coordination with Indian Ops/Business units for development & maintenance of effective framework for sanctions screening for forex and trade transactions

The role involves:

- Coordination and representing the corporate office views on various senior forum, viz. Compliance Committee of India / IBG, Management Committees of respective international branches, etc.

- Engagement with significant seniors for implementation of the requisite AML/KYC controls (SBU heads, IBG branch seniors)

- Coordination with respective compliance representatives in SBUs and internal stakeholders (Ops, ITG, Vendor) Representing the bank's views to external stakeholders (viz. regulators, auditors, correspondent banks, etc)
