Description

- Lead a team to build scalable systems to be used by millions of farmers and agri business

- Hire, mentor and build high performing tech team for fast paced development

- Work with geospatial datasets to build solutions for farmers/agri-businesses.

- Work with Android/web developers to develop backend services that meet their needs

- Investigate performance bottlenecks and write code with performance in mind

- Identify libraries and technologies that solve problems and worth experimentation

Requirements

- 8-12 years of experience in enterprise solution development including managing a team

- Track record of building credibility and trust with talented engineers and peers

- Expertise in agile methodologies in Product Management and Software Development

- Command over any one language - Python, Java, NodeJS

- Understanding of databases and data models - Relational and Non Relational

- Experience of database design and querying with a focus on performance

- Familiarity with at least one web framework - Django, Flask, RoR etc

- Knowledge of caching techniques and utilities like Memcache / Redis

- Knowledge of REST paradigm, service oriented architecture and distributed systems

- Clear understanding of data structures and algorithms
