Knowledge & Skills Required :
We are looking for candidates who have demonstrated both a strong business sense and high logical and programming skills.
Skill Set Required: Essential :
- Prior experience in managing teams and delivering global assignments is a must. Strong stakeholder management skills, proven experience in working in multi-cultural environments.
- Strong analytics solutioning skills and ability to cultivate and leverage relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes and recommend solutions.
- Strong programming skills in at least one of the following -SQL Server, MS Access, Excel, VBA
In addition, candidates must also possess the following hallmarks of excellent problem solving skills, team skills, entrepreneurial ability, and strong communication skills.
- Energetic, cooperative and pleasant personality. Able to work with and coach effectively a diverse group of team members.
- Strong execution drive.
- Flexibility, patience, and an understanding of fluid, demanding, and unstructured environments where priorities evolve constantly and methodologies are regularly challenged.
Education & Previous Experience Required :
- Post-graduate OR Graduate degree from tier colleges in Computer Applications/Engineering/Mathematics/Operations research (with strong quantitative background). MBA is an added advantage.
- 7-8 years experience in working with programming on SQL Reporting Services 2005/2008, PL/SQL (Oracle/MySQL), and T-SQL (MS SQL server) or Excel VBA/ Access or Predictive modeling using SAS/SPSS/R
- Proven leadership record in building and leading small to mid-size teams (8-15 people)
