TE Connectivity - Senior Analyst - Corporate Strategy

Job Overview :

We are looking for talented individuals who are looking to accelerate their career within the strategy team with career options that lead across TE. The Corporate Strategy and Business Development team shapes TE's portfolio composition and competitive strategy, by being an advisor to the CEO and the top leadership team.

As a member of the Corporate Strategy team, the individual will contribute towards shaping TE's portfolio composition and competitive strategy. The analyst will work directly with Directors and Senior Managers in the Corporate Strategy team and help solve the most important strategic questions across TE Connectivity, such as:

Help the Business Segments and Business Units develop strategies that drive above-market organic and inorganic growth, gather real-time input as the external environment (e.g., technology, customer needs, regulations, competitors, etc.) evolves.

Responsibilities & Qualifications :

The candidate will have the following primary responsibilities :

- Collaborate with the corporate strategy and business unit teams to solve complex business problems

- Effectively translate business requests into well-defined problems

- Develop strategies and approaches to fulfill complex project assignments in creative and meaningful ways

- Perform analyses to generate impact driven insights

- Identify key trends across markets, industries, and competitors that affect our businesses

- Create analytical models to address key business questions and translate output into clear stories, typically using PowerPoint

Ideal candidate profile :

- Success in the role requires strong business acumen and strategic mindset, exceptional communication and presentation skills, ability to work seamlessly with team members at multiple levels in the organization, and the skills and tenacity to achieve results without formal authority.

- In addition, successful candidate will have the following qualifications, experience and skills:

- Bachelors in Engineering from leading institution and preferably an MBA 3-5 years of experience in market research or management consulting

- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills and inquisitive disposition

- Ability to think strategically and work in a team environment

- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to summarize complex analysis into the most important points and insights

- Skilled in organizing and integrating information

- Strong with MS-Excel and MS-PPT Experience creating presentations and communicating ideas and plans

- Ability to work independently with limited supervision

- Track record of demonstrated leadership potential through academic, work, and/or community activities

- High level of integrity, persistence, and stamina

- Highly motivated self-starter International experience or exposure a plus Strong sense of tact, confidentiality, and maturity
