Presales Data Center Solution Lead

Experience in Solution Lead :

- Designing solutions for Infrastructure Services technical towers (listed in Col B)

- Working on RFI/RFP responses (solutions)

- Conducting RFP presentations

- Conducting and leading Solution workshops

- Conducting and leading Infrastructure Studies

- Guiding Technical teams

- Coordination and communication within and outside Infrastructure Services team

- High degree of customer interfacing

- Understanding of latest market trends and technologies for the specific tower/domain

- Good communication skills

- Prior experience in the above. Overseas experience will be an advantage

- Experience in services and not selling products

Data Center Services covering :

- Servers- Windows, Unix, AIX, Solaris, AS400, Linux

- Database - Oracle, SQL

- Storage, Backup

- Command Center

- Messaging - Exchange & Lotus Notes

Experience in :

- Administration / Management of Server / Database / Storage/ Messaging

- Troubleshooting Production, Development, Testing environment

- Working on Enterprise environment & Tools for Global customers

- Performance Management

- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP

- Backup / Restore

- Security Management

- Standard Operating procedures

- Server Consolidation / Virtualization

- Data Center Redesign / Consolidation; Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity; Security; Applications & Data Migrations to new platforms

- Data Center Management

- Data Center Migration & Consolidation

- Planning, installing and configuring data center automation solutions

- Hardware and operating system installation

- Middleware software installation & Custom applications installation

- Networking configurations & Storage configurations

- Design and implement processes and solutions for infrastructure monitoring for use as Command Center/NOC for 24x7x365 operation

- Planning and implementing enterprise size migrations of complete system environments from current state to future state.

- Participate in the design of Data Center Architecture (DCA) for use in the migration

- Incorporating large scale DR implementations with existing environments.

Following virtualization technologies :

- VMware (Version 3.5, and 4.0, OS - Windows, Suse, RedHat)

- IBM Hypervisor (P5 and P6 Series hardware, OS - AIX, Linux)

Provisioning tools like :

- BMC - BladeLogic Server Automation Suite

- HP - Server Automation Software

- CA - Spectrum Automation Manager

- IBM - Data Center Automation (Tivoli Provisioning Manager)

- Scalent - Infrastructure Manager (IM)
