TCS - Drupal Architect

Desired Experience Range - 7-10 yrs

Required Technical Skill Set - Drupal 7, PHP, MySQL, Apache (LAMP stack)

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

- Drupal 7, PHP, jQuery, HTML 5, CSS and Web Services

- Deep knowledge of Drupal Core and popular key Contributed modules, preferably Drupal 7

- Strong experience with Views, Features and Rules, core API, CCK/Fields

- Strong experience of creating Responsive web site

- Strong experience in LAMP (PHP) stack, scalability, open source, development processes.

- Mastery of XML, JSON, jQuery, Ajax, HTML 5, CSS, and RESTful Web Services.

- Experience in debugging, performance testing, code reviewing, Unit testing

- High level of understanding SDLC

- Understanding other architectures/frameworks/technologies

- Experience with Git version control system

- Git, Omniture, MySQL

- vBuilding Responsive web site

- Ability to work as part of a team, understanding problems from another team member's perspective, and, at times go beyond the job description to achieve a broader team goal.

Other experience that would be beneficial but not critical:

- Experience with Solr, Omniture, Varnish, email

- Experience with Drupal mobile

- Solid understanding of Cloud Application Platforms and familiarity with agile methods

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

- Providing Solution and Technical architect for sites to be build on Drupal7 platform

- Work with development team and guide them with solution/ architecture

- Review design and architecture of new applications and critical enhancements

- Help team for developing elegant solutions using Drupal API

- Help team to Maintain and Enhance the website

- Ensure use of best programming practices for having a high performance Drupal/LAMP architectures

- Work on POCs

- Help team to build Drupal competency by training
