Business Analyst to President (Quant background - Masters in Economics, stats, Phy / Engr-MBA)

Job Description

- Research and analysis on company and competitor data

- Assist the President in cadence of execution and progress reviews

- Liaison with various teams to ensure various departments align to company's Northstar metric of Active buyers on the platform

- Partner with data team to create reports for management reviews; Leverage existing data reports Enable effective decision making by retrieving and compiling data from multiple sources with context and perspective

- Help create presentations for internal, external and board meetings

Candidate Profile

- 2-5 years of professional experience

- Experience in consulting, investment banking, analyst, planning roles etc are ideal

- Very strong analytical skills and quants background with engineering background OR masters degree in economics, physics or math. MBA preferred but not mandatory

- Proficient in excel, data analysis, with exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills & knowledge of Power Point, Strong Analytical skills with quick to absorb business knowledge

- Has basic business sense/curiosity. Able to think how the various components of a business come together. Able to identify the key levers that drive growth and business performance

- Strong problem solving skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to summarize and present findings in a coherent manner

- Strong work ethic. Intrinsically motivated to function at high performance levels

- Easy to work with and strong interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple teams, High level of attention to detail, thoroughness & strong bias for action
