Taxation Role - Direct & Indirect Tax

We are looking for a experienced professionals who has exposure to different Industry for handling Taxation matters PAN India.

Location - Mumbai

Job Description: The purpose of this position is to strengthen the Tax team to be able to support the business to be fully compliant with the requirements of the GST legislation. The incumbent would also be expected to contribute to the existing outstanding indirect and direct tax matters and be able to effectively articulate the Company's tax policies to various internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Hands on experience for leading Indirect taxation compliance, including attending assessments, as well as working knowledge in Direct taxation

- Worked independently in GST notices, compliances and Audits including filing of all GST returns e.g., GSTR1, GSTR6, GSTR7, GSTR3B, GSTR9, PR vs 2B reconciliation etc.

- Up to date knowledge of tax provisions, amendments and judgments on tax issues.

- Excellent MS excel skill, should be able to use formulas to ensure accuracy and time efficiency.

- Strong analytical skills with problem solving abilities.

- Should have experience of dealing with consultants and law firms on Indirect Tax matters.

- Good awareness of GST law and procedures.

- Must have ability to convincingly articulate the Company's tax position to internal stakeholders and externally with clients, and tax authorities.

- Provide clear and up to date impact of Indirect Tax law to the business to enable the business to be fully compliant at all times.

- Liaise extensively with internal and external stakeholders and effectively articulate the Company's position on Indirect Tax matters.

- Lead overall tax compliance and litigation at various judicial forums with precise information and documentations.
