Job Description - The Manager: Direct and Indirect Taxation role heads the complete taxation profile of the organisation. It requires the candidate to have an exposure to corporate income tax, MAT and withholding tax, along with GST.

Our client is a pioneer in the packaging industry. With a strong presence across the globe, their production capacity runs into millions of tons and have over 250 manufacturing facilities globally. They are now looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to manage their taxation function

Description

As the Manager: Direct and Indirect Tax, you will report to the Finance Controller. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

1. Heading the direct and indirect taxation function of the company

2. Conducting tax audits

3. Be well versed with Import/Export laws and be able to coordinate with all regulatory authorities

4. Drive closure of all tax assessments, departmental audits, inspections, enquiry etc.

5. Drive tax planning and strategy to optimise tax implications

6. Providing tax advisory to operating teams

Profile

As a successful candidate you possess 6-10 years of post CA experience, having handled both direct and indirect taxation as your current profile.

You are well versed with Import/Export laws and be able to coordinate with all regulatory authorities

The candidate should be comfortable relocating to Vapi for the role.
