Tax & Payroll Specialist - CA - BFSI/Pharma/Healthcare

Qualifications (3+ years of combined experience) :

- Chartered Accountant, preferably Big 4

- Industry Payroll (successful HR partner) and Tax experience

- Responsible the Region/Country tax analysis, planning and analysis and filing.

- In association with the Corporate Tax Department, manages tax risk while enabling the company to minimize its tax burden and complete its income tax filing and its financial reporting requirements.

- Responsible to support the Finance function to provide timely and accurate reporting in accordance with both local regulations (legal entity reporting) and US GAAP requirements.

- This position is also responsible to ensure that bookkeeping is in accordance with local regulations and Corporate Policies and Procedures.

- Supports the local payroll process for accuracy and accounting

Responsibilities :

- Coordinates and reviews of the completion of Country tax returns.

- Responsible for the country's financial reporting process as it relates to income tax accounting.

- Assist with tax audits and communicate tax risk to senior management.

- Research issues that relate to all country/regional taxation.

- Assist in the structuring and planning of acquisitions/reorganizations.

- Work with and manage outside advisors on tax projects.

- Work with Corporate Tax management on various corporate initiatives.

- Provides input to the Quality committee in finance specific local issues, with the purpose of wither finding a solution form other countries- experiences or providing advice on potential barriers for other countries and local regulations.

- Drives compliance in all finance related matters (CA&C, SOX, Statutory, monthly Closing). Participates in implementing Quality requirements in all aspects of the Finance Process.
