Tax Manager - Audit & Assurance Firm

TAX MANAGER - Form 990EZ, 990, and 990PF

Spectral Consultants is hiring for the role of Tax Manager with one of the Global Audit and Assurance firms.

Responsibilities.

- Review form 990- EZ, 990, and 990- PF for private foundations, public charities, and other nonprofits.

- Manage and implement multiple and often complex projects simultaneously, which include client communication, review of detailed calculations, analysis, data gathering.

- Conduct research and analysis for tax implications of federal and state Unrelated Business Income Tax (UBIT) issues related to nonprofit specific activities.

- Manage the preparation of Tax- Exempt Status Reinstatements including working with the client to gather or recreate the necessary information, and review of Form 1023, Application for Recognition of Exemption Under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Requirements:

1. Qualification - CA, CPA , CFA , MBA, An active CPA or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent ("EA") license.

2. 8+ years of experience preparing and reviewing form 990 for public charities and other nonprofits
