Job Description :

- Drafting Appeal memos, compiling Paperbooks, doing research, preparing of summarized submissions, drafting adjournment and consolidation letters, etc.

- Assisting in representation before the Tribunal and Bombay High Court

- Assisting in briefing the senior counsels during the conferences with them

- Assisting in appeals before the Commissioner of Income-tax (Appeals) [CIT(A)] including research, preparation of written submissions, compilation of paper books, etc

- Analysis of judgments passed by appellate authorities in order to advise the clients on way forward

Specific Task :

- Analysis on whether consideration made for the use of a computer system would amount to royalty

- Issues relating to permanent establishment in India

- Analysing some of the key Direct as well Indirect Tax Code provisions
