Tax Head - Direct & Indirect - CA/ICWA/CS - Manufacturing

Currently hiring a Tax Manager (Direct and Indirect) - Bangalore - Manufacturing for a German MNC.

Ideal Candidate :

- Professional knowledge of Indian Tax Laws & legal framework - Continuous updation.

- Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant/Company Secretary with around 12 to 15 years of experience in the field of taxation and experience in similar capacity in any long term project based manufacturing / engineering organization (preferably in MNC) / reputed tax consultancy & accounting firm.

Roles and responsibilities :

- Establish procedures and processes to comply with Indian Tax Laws

- Documentation for Tax Rebates, Duty drawbacks and Tax Incentives, Liaise with Tax Authorities for timely refund

- Compilation and Submission of periodical returns to Tax authorities

- Manage audit by tax authorities,Assessments.

- Submission of tax schedules to Country Finance and interaction with auditors

- Keep track of updates in Tax Laws and define the systems/procedures to meet the requirements

- Assist country Finance in Tax audit by external auditors

- Registration with tax authorities under Indirect tax laws i.e. Customs, Central .Excise, Service Tax.

- Managing transfer pricing matters of the units

- Supporting for development & implementation of process for the unit for Excise, Service Tax & EXIM.

- Completion of formalities for import of goods at nil rate or concessional rate of .

- Professional knowledge of Indian Tax Laws & legal framework - Continuous updation.

- Supporting in making legal contracts and managing overall compliance framework.

Education : CA/ICWA/CS
