Tax Analyst - Indirect Taxation - eCommerce

Tax Analyst(Indirect taxation)-Leading Ecommerce-Bangalore

- Prepare and / or review quarterly GST returns for various entities at PAN India Level. Ensuring timely filing and payment of taxes

- Examining applicable GST provisions, Customs Law and other indirect tax issues which includes working with tax authorities and external consultants as a part of Global tax team

- Analyzing and evaluating the possible planning opportunities and strategies under applicable tax laws

- Maintaining and communicating knowledge of past, present and potential future Indian indirect tax laws, regulations, rulings, procedures and court decisions by updating the relevant teams

- Continues monitoring of applicability of various state specific transit forms and ensure compliance with the state specific regulatory requirement

- Assisting with managing relationships with outside tax consultants and regulatory authorities on an ongoing basis

- Setting up of Information Management framework and designing framework for assessment readiness. Also assist the teams on audits, litigation and assessment proceedings.

- Providing support to the Indian based accounting team responsible for tax accounting and reconciliations
