Background to the Position :

As we grow and scale our organization and increase our project site, we are looking to bring on board a senior professional who will help us ensure that our purchasing needs are met and that procurement standards are defined and maintained. This is a new role.

Position : Purchase Manager

Reporting to : Head of Engineering

Reportees : 1 (Purchase Executive)

Responsibilities :

- Procurement of high value materials such as steel, cement, RMC, tiles, lifts, etc.

- Planning, estimating and tracking of material requirements by project

- Identifying best suited vendors, inviting quotations and negotiating rates

- Managing supplier relationships also ensuring vendor payouts

- Inventory management across all projects, ensuring timeliness of procurement (no stocks run outs) and quality standards of materials are met.

- Preparing and maintaining MIS reports such as MR closure, stock statements, purchase order delivery, price comparison statements, vendor database, etc.

Requirements :

- Graduate with 10 to 18 years of experience working in the real estate space

- Strong familiarity with local vendor networks in Mumbai

- Proven track record of having contributed to the financial efficiency of projects through innovative purchase initiatives

- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, analytical, written and oral communication skills.
