Product Lead (Applications & Solutions)

The Person will be TTL’s Product Lifecycle Management initiatives Messaging & other M2M Products. The person will hold a P&L responsibility for Messaging & specific M2M products and for establishing market and product leadership for these solutions in the Enterprise Market.

The Person will be responsible specifically for Product Lifecycle Management for Messaging and specific M2M Products. He/she will work closely with the Development team to drive innovation and launching new solutions in this space. In the lifecycle area, the individual will work very closely with the Sales & marketing teams, customer services and partner ecosystem to ensure product leadership thereby driving business revenues and to become a dominant player in the Enterprise business for these specific products.

II. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

This position is responsible for assessing & executing action vis-a-vis following for the Messaging & specific M2M products:

- Product Revenue and P&L

- Customer interactions

- Idea generation

- Translate idea into market opportunity

- Subscriber growth objectives attainment

- Market planning w.r.t. Products, Market opportunities, Tariffing & pricing, go-to market strategies

- Planning for solution/ product design- creation/ modification/ innovations

- Market Scanning for competitive & generic developments

- Advising Solution requirement specifications to technology teams

- Closure of product/ markets gaps on pricing / Tariffing

- Architecting Mobile Applications and Messaging Solutions roadmap/future for the Enterprise segment

- Driving product profitability higher

- Developing the market requirements document

- Coordinating activities of different functional groups

- Participating in and/or running the launch and post-launch Product Management activities for the products

- Customer interactions

- Government tenders

- Solutioning capabilities for large custom deals

III. TEAM DELIVERABLES

- Product Revenues and P&L

- Market planning w.r.t. Products, Market opportunities, Tariffing & pricing, go-to market strategies

- Market Scanning for competitive & generic developments

- Advising Solution requirement specifications to technology teams

- Developing the market requirements document

- Managing the product feature list

- Coordinating activities of different functional groups

- Participating in and/or running the launch and post-launch Product Management activities for the products

- Customer interactions

IV. CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

- Experience in Messaging & M2M

- Experience in creating and executing Business Plans

- Perspective of Company's products, policies and Operations Systems & Processes•

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a command over written and spoken English•

- Strong Coordination skills, ability to handle CXO level interactions

- Analytical mind and Attention to detail

- Ability to take independent decisions and meets stringent deadlines

- High level of Customer Sensitivity, Commitment & Service orientation

II. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- Engineer/ Sciences Graduate

- Master's Degree in Business Administration/ Technology,

- 10+ years experience, preferably from Telecom/ Product Management
