Manager - IT Applications (BI)

Brief Job Description:

1 Create and maintain data model including physical and logical data model

2 Plan, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain BI applications, reports, and dashboards in support of the organization objectives

3 Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate into technical specifications, prototypes, and end state products

4 Work closely with various cross functional team members to design, build, test, and maintain analytics solutions

5 Provide delivery oversight and manage service providers to ensure high quality and timely delivery of applications and components to the defined scope

6 Responsible for ensuring that the service requests and issues are resolved within the defined timeframes

7 Ensure that the necessary documents, pertaining to the delivered product are verified and hosted in a common folder for transparent and easy retrieval.

Knowledge:

- Advanced SQL knowledge and in-depth RDBMS experience. Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing and Multidimensional Data Modelling

- Highly proficient in developing with Power BI or Tableau. A strong track record of integrating source systems and delivering self-serve Business Intelligence

- Requirements Management, Solution design, Testing

- IT Supplier and Customer Relationship Management, Financial Management

- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) management including Agile methodology

Experience:

- Experience in BI development using opensource technologies is desirable.

- Exposure to implementations in large Non-Profits will be an advantage.

Qualification: BE / BTech / MTech / MCA in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, another related discipline, or relevant experience.
