About the organization

Tata Cancer Care Foundation ("TCCF") is a not-for-profit company incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. TCCF acts as the implementation arm of Tata Trusts for supporting the cancer care programme initiated by Tata Trusts. As part of this initiative, TCCF has set up and is managing Cancer Care Hospitals at Tirupati (92 beds) and Ranchi (82 beds) and a Centre of Oncopathology at Wadala, Mumbai. TCCF also procures high-end medical equipment and donates them to Assam Cancer Care Foundation ("ACCF") in Assam and Chandrapur Cancer Care Foundation ("CCCF") in Maharashtra. ACCF has set up and is managing the operations of 7 cancer care hospitals in Assam. 3 more hospitals would commence operations in due course and 7 more hospitals are proposed to be built. The TCCF management provides support and guidance to the management of ACCF as required. TCCF has its Corporate Office in Mumbai headed by its Chief Executive and manages functions such as Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Corporate Secretarial & Legal, Procurement, etc.

Job Purpose / Objective:

Responsible for Talent Acquisition and management of clinical and non-clinical personnel and rolling out and implementing HR policies and upholding the best HR standards as determined by the management in line with the mission and vision of Tata Cancer Care Foundation.

Brief Job Description:

1. Develop, implement and oversee the different Human Resource activities including but not limited to talent acquisition and management particularly for a Healthcare Unit, performance management, compensation and reward and recognition system, employee productivity, and learning and development.

2. Responsible for the entire gamut of HR, ER, Statutory & legal Compliances and Learning & Development activities of the Organization, both at the Corporate level and at the Units.

3. Responsible for developing HR strategies and providing input / advice to the Senior Management on all related subjects as and when required.

4. To head the HR functions of the Cancer Care Units being set up by Tata Cancer Care Foundation in different states & setting up the Human Resource Department by way of creating a road map for the Department, developing HR Manual, Policies, SOPs & Operational Procedures for the Units.

5. Ensure development and implementation of HRIS and People Analytics Systems in the Hospitals and Oncopathology lab.

6. Coordinate and collaborate with different Functional Heads of the Hospitals / Lab and Senior Management for smooth and effective functioning of the healthcare institution.

7. Take a lead role in transforming & strengthening the organizational culture, values and approach.

8. Design a plan for diversity, equality and inclusion that aligns with organizational values, operational strategy and commitments.

9. To develop and oversee the HR budget and budgetary control for the Corporate Office and the healthcare Units.

10. To monitor & ensure legal and statutory compliances and implementation of the mission and talent strategy of the organisation.

11. To ensure the active participation of Unit HR Managers / HR departments in the Hospitals' Certification Programme i.e. NABH, NABL, ISO, JCI etc., from time to time.

Minimum 15 years' work experience in Human Resource function out of which at least 5 years' work experience as Head, HR. Experience of working as HR Head of a Health sector unit/organization desirable.
