Purpose of the Job - Experience in formulating cold/hot rolling lubricant and thorough knowledge on the application. - Characterization and testing of lubricants - Monitor lubricant health in rolling mills and maintain a data base to ensure compliance with standard. - Understanding the lubricant application in rolling mills and assist team in defect identification and lubricant trials with co-ordination between R&D, Quality and Operations - Design and fabricate experimental set up or technique to simulate plant conditions. - Compile and interpret test results and write technical reports and prepare graphs and charts. - Maintain and upkeep safe work environment at R&D laboratory. - Order and inventory materials and spares to maintain supply. Job responsibilities 1. Monitor lubricant health across cold rolling mills and maintain data base 2.
