Purpose of the Job: - The incumbent will be responsible for hiring of various services viz. O&M services, repair & maintenance services for TSLPL Gamharia plant. - The role will collaboratively use service provider and market data and perform activities that support hiring of services as & when required. - This position will assist or lead in planning and execution of service contracts and interact with stakeholders to implement relevant strategies for job contracts. - This position will create and manage leveraged agreements, establish strong links with business stakeholders and service providers. Overall Job Responsibility: 1. Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies for service procurement 2. Discover total cost of ownership for contract formation. 3. Preparation of service level agreement, identification of KPIs & deliverables for contracts. 4. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness 5. Run tenders, evaluate bids and make recommendations, based on commercial and technical factors 6. Undertake value for money reviews of existing contracts and arrangements. 7. Perform risk management for service contracts and agreements. 8. Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs. 9. Ensure the security and sustainability of sources of essential services. 10. Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.
