Tata Steel - Head - O&M Oxygen Plant

- Head-Operation and MM Oxygen Plant at TSM is responsible and accountable for safe operation and mechanical maintenance of 340 TPD, 405 TPD, 1200 TPD, 1120 TPD oxygen plant and other associated sections of Air separation Units at TSM. Responsible for implementing the Goals and targets for the department in line with the ABP of the Power System and SS Division for Safety, environment, and operation.

- This position is also accountable for all Planned / Unplanned, shut down / MSD / Breakdown / Daily Management, mechanical maintenance related execution with Area Maintenance of the assigned area, ensuring excellence in execution & maintaining safety standards at workplace. Additionally, all Safety, TQM & Improvement initiatives will be taken care in the area of work.

- Drive Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) initiatives to achieve zero Fatality and LTI. Ensure safety requirements like SOP's, Positive isolation, adherence to standards is in place and being practiced.

- Accountable for safe operation and maintenance of air separation units for uninterrupted supply of -oxygen in line with ABP

- Employees operational skill development initiatives to be ensured.

- Statutory and regulatory compliance for smooth operation of the plant.

- Contractor Safety Management of Vendors score card monitoring & compliance & ensuring Workplace Safety of Vendors.

- Ensuring uninterrupted supply of Industrial gases (Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon etc.) to all consumers.

- Preparing the Industrial gas balance as per the production plan and arranging for Liquid oxygen purchase procurement through strategic procurement.
