Tata Motors - Warehouse Manager

Job Summary :

To manage warehouse operations in order to fulfill demand with right quality, speed, cost within the available resources provided by TML and Service providers by complying to Safety, regulatory requirements and company policies.

Job Responsibilities :

- To achieve monthly sales Target decided in Parts steering committee meeting

- Communicate daily sale target to Logistic Service Provider.

- Conduct daily meetings with RWH LSP team to review sales outlook and any other pending issues

- Follow with RPMs Retail /Service channel, PHQ Thane for funds from Credit control team for release of challans (sales input)which would initiate the process of Picking, packing, dispatch to result into daily sales.

- Review sales outlook throughout the day with RWH LSP team and try and lift the daily constraints (Load balancing between Pick, pack etc.)

- Fulfill daily/monthly sales demand through collaborative efforts between various sub-functions

- To maintain processes to improve speed in RWH operation with nil discrepancy.

- Review actionable points of outbound operation daily to improve speed for timely fulfillment of customer need.

- Seek management support to overcome the constraints which could not be resolved by RWH team.

- Followup for timely execution (within 6 hrs) Vehicle off road (VOR) releases to put the customer vehicle back on road on priority basis.

- Inline with VOR, followup for execution of New product delivery conversion to facilitate the process of speedy fulfillment of demand.

- Follow for timely execution of Stock Transport orders from RWH to other RWHs. Timely execution of IB VOR & general order releases.

- Create audit check lists for various categories viz., warehouse, transportation to address the potential issues comprehensively and proactively.

- Communicate the desired process and check list as given by internal audit to warehouse for adherence.

- Review the warehouse processes with respect to change in Department policies and regulatory requirements and revise processes and checklists accordingly for adherence to policies and requirements.

- Learn and share the feedback from internal audit process.

- Seek necessary approvals as defined in authority matrix for warehouse operation like scrap parts disposal, Write off approvals, Stock variance posting approvals, transportation bills for in/outbound, Service provider remuneration etc.

Educational qualifications :

- B.E./ B.Tech. with MBA or PGDOM or PGDip in Supply chain mgt
