Manager - Finance & Accounts

Job Purpose :

- This will be a controllership position.

- The candidate should be conversant with preparing and reviewing entity financials and also oversee transactional processing activities.

- This position is responsible for ensuring proper book closure, review and analysis of MIS, accounts finalization, consolidation, MIS, General ledger review, balance sheet proofing, PL (variance) analysis, year end financial pack, audit support, supervise transactional processing activities, stakeholder management and other ad-hoc support activities as required by the business.

- As a part of the controller's role, the candidate needs to ensure that there is strict adherence to the Standard Operating Manual (SOM) and Schedule of Authorities (SoA). Should have an ability to identify/pick up abnormal transactions

Key Responsibilities :

- Controllership Role ; Owner of balance sheet & P&L line items, MIS, Book close,

- Balance sheet proofing, account reconciliations and other R2R (Record to report) requirements.

- Supervisory role for AR & AP & R2R activities.

- Stakeholder management

- Ensuring strict adherence to SOM and SoA

Educational Qualifications :

- CA with 5 to 10 years of work experience. Working at a shared services centre for 2 to 3 years in a similar job role is mandatory.

- Experience in handling Big 4 audits and prior experience in handling Africa region accounting will be a huge plus
